Three MKS PAMP Employees Become Sworn Precious Metals Assayers

MKS PAMP is proud to announce that three of its employees have officially become Sworn Assayers of Precious Metals, marking a significant achievement for both the individuals and the company.

Mirko Trapani, Davide Carnevali, and Davide Benzoni were awarded their diplomas and took their official oaths during a formal ceremony held last Friday at the Central Precious Metals Control Office in Brügg.  Sworn Precious Metals Assayers are the only professionals authorised to determine the fineness - i.e. the purity - of precious metals (gold, silver, platinum and palladium) and carry out product monitoring in accordance with the Swiss Precious Metals Control Act, LCMP.

Global demand and the need for excellence in the precious metals sector - as well as in related fields such as watchmaking and jewellery - are increasingly high, and Switzerland has distinguished itself for centuries by being able to offer quality and reliability also thanks to the particularly stringent federal regulations it implements.

Having three new assayers graduate from a single company at the same time is a rare occurrence, and a strong testament to MKS PAMP’s commitment to excellence. They join a team of already certified Sworn Assayers at MKS PAMP, further strengthening the company’s expertise. The company has already enrolled three more employees into the demanding two-year training program.

“Becoming a Sworn Assayer is a rigorous path: we are proud to see our colleagues reach this highly respected milestone,” comments Phaedon Stamatopoulos, Managing Director of the MKS PAMP refinery and mint in Ticino. Stamatopoulos continues: “We actively support this training because it not only advances the individual careers of our staff but also ensures the highest levels of quality and integrity in all activities. It is a reflection of our long-term commitment to excellence in precious metals manufacturing and to help raise the standards of the industry as a whole”.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mirko Trapani, Davide Carnevali, and Davide Benzoni on this remarkable achievement.
